Hi there! So its time to plan my final project!

I wanted to stick with GIFs because I really enjoy making and I think its fun to capture just a small moment in time. I also really enjoy getting them to loop as much closely as possible. So when I was starting to plan out my ideas for the project I didn’t really know what I wanted to create. I was stuck trying to come up with ideas for a very long time, right before we had to present our idea. I had a few ideas for the project, but I didn’t know how to execute, one being kinetic typography. That is where you create motion in text. Here’s an example:

This video is an awesome example of what you can do with kinetic typography. I was really excited about this concept but I had no idea where to begin. So in collaboration with Amy, who suggested my final idea we decided to switch our ideas around. She would work on the kinetic typography for her final and I would work on GIFs. But the GIFs would be a little different. They would be cinemagraphs instead of GIFs. Cinemagraphs are different from regular GIFs, because cinemagaphs have a small movement in the image rather than the entire image moving. Here are some examples:

I was really fascinated with this concept and I wanted to tackle this project. Stay Tuned for more planning!
