This is so bittersweet! My last post for wire106 and ds106 (hopefully not ds106)! This semester was so much fun and its all thanks to this class! Ds106 was my favorite class I've taken so far here at UMW and I'm really glad I decided to take it. I was on the fence over the summer and whether or not I should take it but I don't regret that decision at all. Move Away From the Cookie Jar
"Stop! Move away from the cookie jar!" Everytime some one opens me, I say this. Every. Single. Time. Its so ANNOYING! I wish there was something else I could say, Like "here have a cookie" or "today's a good day for cookies and milk!" "Move away from the cookie jar" just sounds forbidding. My Favorite Assignment
Hiya! So for today's Daily Create we were tasked with writing about our favorite assignment we did this semester: My all time favorite assignment was the Swede it! Hi! So for one of the final assignments I decided to make a To-do list for Beatrice! This was worth 3 stars. I had a lot of fun with this! Happy Thanksgiving everyone! This week was fun! I had a rough time with the mashups but once I sat down and completed them it was much easier than I thought it was going to be! Hiya! For part of the final project, I decided to make a Pinterest for Beatrice. One of the web assignments was to make a pinterest board for her dream vacation. Now Beatrice works very hard so I decided to pick something that was still in the states for her, and DisneyWorld is a great option. So from there I just found some good tips and trick on what to pack while flying down to Orlando. Hiya! So another mashup down! I decided to do the trailer mashup because it really stuck out to me when I was brainstorming ideas for the mashups. Hiya! So for a mashup I decided to make a motivational poster but I wanted to incorporate the Wire as well. So I thought back through some of the assignments that I completed and I found the alternative epigraphs assignment. I knew that this would be perfect! Fox News Remix
Hiya! So this remix, Common Everyday Object [Remixed]: Fox News was really fun! I was thinking of what would be easy to over exaggerate and I saw the bowl of fruit that was in my kitchen! I thought that this would be perfect. How can you not over exaggerate a picture of fruit?
